Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing careAssists physicians during examinations and proceduresPerforms various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nursePromotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skillsRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals8hr, 10hr and 12hr varying daysOn-call requirementRequirements:
Active NM Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN LicenseAssociates Degree or higher in NursingCurrent BLS required, preferred ACLS and PALS Certification from the American Heart AssociationAt least 1 year of OR or Operating Room Unit experience preferredWho we are!We are a 168-bed Joint Commission accredited acute care facility serving Las Cruces and southern New Mexico.
